State gambling agents bust Seattle online business

State Gambling Commission investigators seized computers from a Seattle-based Internet betting site.

The raid yesterday shut down Betcha.com. It is suspected of violating the 2006 ban on Internet gambling.

Company founder Nick Jenkins disputes that and is seeking a court order against the state today in Olympia.

Jenkins says his business isn't covered by the state ban. He says it provides a forum for people who want to make bets against each other. It doesn't back bets or guarantee payouts.
